AI Solution Architect

Overview

As an AI Solution Architect, you translate client needs into viable AI solution blueprints aligned with NTT DATA standards and delivery capabilities. You will shape scope, timelines, and commercial options, guiding cross-functional teams from pursuit to delivery. You’ll craft feasible architectures, estimates, and SOW inputs while integrating partner platforms. This role combines technical design with business judgement to enable scalable, value-driven AI deployments. You’ll work closely with consulting, delivery, finance, and sales to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design AI solutions aligned to client requirements, standards, and delivery capabilities
• Define scope, approach, blueprints, architectures, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and success criteria
• Build work estimates across roles, effort, locations, tooling, platforms, and delivery dependencies
• Define workplan timelines, milestones, and MVP-to-scale paths
• Collaborate with delivery, finance, and commercial teams to shape pricing inputs and deal economics
• Support SOW development with scope boundaries, deliverables, dependencies, and change-control considerations
• Validate feasibility, resourcing, integration, data readiness, security, governance, and ops requirements
• Incorporate partner platforms, support Q&A, client demos, and transition from pursuit to delivery
• Contribute reusable estimates, patterns, BOMs, workplans, and lessons learned to the global AI GTM knowledge base

Key requirements

• 8+ years in solution architecture, technology consulting, software engineering, data engineering, systems integration, presales, or delivery
• 3+ years designing or delivering AI, data, analytics, ML, GenAI, agentic AI, or automation solutions
• 1+ year hands-on or solutioning with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or enterprise AI platforms
• Experience producing blueprints, estimates, delivery plans, staffing models, SOW inputs, and pricing inputs
• Working knowledge of cloud, data, integration, security, governance, and operational support
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
