In this role, you will handle high-value restructuring and insolvency matters within a leading independent City firm. You’ll work closely with partners, manage a varied caseload, and play a growing role in client relationships and strategic case management. Responsibilities
- Advising clients on legal strategy for restructuring and insolvency matters
- Drafting court documents and technical correspondence
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in disputes
- Instructing leading counsel on complex matters
- Supervising trainee solicitors and junior lawyers
- Supporting business development to strengthen the department’s market presence
- Collaborating with wider litigation, corporate and banking teams on cross-practice matters
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years’ PQE (England & Wales) in Restructuring & Insolvency
- Excellent technical ability with strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Experience managing a varied caseload and supervising/delegating work
- Commercial mindset with resilience and practical problem-solving
- Interest in business development and building long-term client relationships
