Finance Operating Model & GBS Senior Manager

Overview

In this Senior Manager role, you lead finance operating-model and GBS transformation engagements, partnering with CFOs to define target models and service-delivery architectures. You design end-to-end operating models, including location strategy, org design, and global process ownership across R2R, P2P, and O2C, with AI-enabled, autonomous operations at the core. You run transformations with minimal client dependency, shaping value cases, governance, and performance metrics. You mentor teams, originate new work, and drive scalable, reusable assets. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead finance reinvention at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end finance operating-model and GBS across R2R, P2P, O2C
• Create service-delivery, location, and organisation design strategies
• Incorporate AI and agents as core components of the operating model
• Lead change management and maintain executive credibility with CFOs
• Run transformations independently with clients and coach the team
• Develop reusable assets, points of view, and new business opportunities
• Define governance, SLAs, KPIs, and value-case to prove model effectiveness
• Shape the offering and grow accounts across practice initiatives

Key requirements

• Track record leading finance operating-model and GBS transformations end-to-end
• Appetite and judgement to lead AI/agent-enabled finance transformations
• Grounding in close, controls, reporting and data integrity within the finance function
• Professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Ability to engage with CFOs and senior finance leadership
• Self-sufficient delivery and strong executive communication and people leadership
