Overview

As Group Product Manager for Investments & Pensions, you will own the roadmap and user experience for the wealth pillar, guiding its global scale while keeping products simple and clear. You’ll work closely with Design and Engineering to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions and grow key metrics like AUM. The role blends strategy, hands-on delivery, and leadership to shape the future of Plum’s wealth proposition. You’ll leverage AI and automation to enhance trading, portfolio management, and interactions, in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy, roadmap, and UX across trading platforms, investment products, and wealth management features
  • Shape product vision balancing business goals, customer needs, and UX excellence
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering to deliver elegant, scalable solutions
  • Develop and mentor product team members to meet strategic goals
  • Own end-to-end roadmaps and prioritisation in a fast-paced, data-driven setting
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve trading decisions, portfolio management, and user interactions
  • Drive commercial metrics: AUM growth, activation and retention, pension consolidation, revenue per customer
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to navigate FCA regulation and policy changes
  • Represent the Investments & Pensions pillar in senior leadership forums

Key requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, trading, or wealth management
  • 3+ years managing multiple product squads or teams in product-led organisations
  • Hands-on, player-coach mentality with prior small PM team leadership
  • Strong UX sensibility and ability to collaborate with designers on complex financial flows
  • Proven ability to define and drive product strategy and communicate vision to leadership
  • High analytical skills with ROI-driven prioritisation
  • Experience delivering sophisticated products in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • Nice to have: experience in trading, investment platforms, or equity research translating complex concepts into intuitive products
