Financial Accountant

Overview

In this role you will be a key member of the finance function in a multinational PLC, supporting the full financial cycle from reporting to planning. You will work closely with the Finance Director to deliver IFRS-based statements and robust commercial analysis. The position blends technical accounting with strategic influence, offering exposure to group reporting and senior stakeholders. This is an opportunity to contribute to process improvements and financial controls while advancing into broader finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Own the month-end close process ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decisions
• Liaise with external auditors and manage statutory and internal compliance
• Strengthen financial controls and drive process improvement initiatives
• Gain exposure to group-level reporting, commercial analysis, and senior stakeholder interaction

Key requirements

• ACA qualified (or very close to qualification)
• Technically strong with excellent Excel and data skills
