Operations Manager, ATS UK

Overview

In this role you lead and develop a team of Area Managers to drive operational excellence across a site. You will coordinate shifts, address issues, and influence site performance while partnering with HR, Finance, Health & Safety, and Security. You design initiatives to lift operations and mentor managers to deliver safe, high-quality, and productive results. The position offers the chance to impact how we scale and innovate in logistic operations within the ATS ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
• Lead operational teams on a shift and address issues to improve site performance
• Analyse shift performance against business objectives and implement improvement actions
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Health & Safety, and Security to support operations
• Design and deliver initiatives across sites to boost operational performance
• Mentor and coach team members to develop leadership capabilities

Key requirements

• Experience in people management and stakeholder management
• Experience in making data-driven business decisions
• English proficiency at C1 level or above (read/write/speak)
• Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree
