Overview

Ambitious transport sector leader to drive growth for AMCL UK&I. You will oversee major client engagements, act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and shape strategic solutions for infrastructure and asset management challenges. The role blends delivery leadership with business development, expanding client relationships and cross-selling opportunities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value and contribute to the growth of the Transport practice within a globally recognised asset management specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major client commissions with accountability for delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and profitability
  • Serve as Engagement Director for complex transport programmes and strategic advisory engagements
  • Build trusted relationships with executive and senior leadership, acting as a long-term advisor
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes with measurable client value
  • Shape innovative, pragmatic asset management and performance solutions
  • Ensure safe, high-standard project delivery aligned with client and business objectives
  • Grow key client accounts by identifying and developing additional opportunities
  • Originate and secure new work across the transport sector through network and market insight
  • Support and lead proposals, bids, and strategic pursuits
  • Foster cross-selling opportunities across AMCL, Turner & Townsend and CBRE
  • Represent AMCL in transport sector forums, conferences and client events
  • Contribute to thought leadership and future development of transport offerings
  • Identify emerging market challenges and translate them into services
  • Coach and develop consultants and future leaders to build a high-performance culture
  • Support growth and capability development of the Transport team

Key requirements

  • Significant transport sector experience across owners, operators, or consultancies
  • Proven record leading complex consulting engagements or transformation programmes
  • Strong client relationship management with executive influence
  • Track record of growing client accounts and repeat business
  • Commercial acumen with project revenue and profitability oversight
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
