Overview

In this role, you join Deloitte’s leading M&A Technology team to support complex technology-driven M&A advisory projects. You will work on buy-side, sell-side, IPO and refinancing deals, from inception to completion, across varied sectors. You’ll help shape IT integration and separation programs, drive PMO activities, and deliver high-quality analytics and reports to senior stakeholders. This role offers exposure to top practitioners, cross-functional collaboration, and hybrid working in London, with a focus on delivering transformational value through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide deal-relevant IT insights and recommendations based on robust analysis
  • Develop IT integration/separation blueprints and related documents (TSA, status reports)
  • Deliver high-quality M&A reports and work products
  • Model IT integrations and separations including cost synergies and ongoing costs
  • PMO support across engagements and IT workstreams to meet objectives
  • Engage with client senior management to drive key activities and risk management
  • Research IT information including cost data and contracts
  • Develop expertise in executive reporting, workshops, benefits tracking, and stakeholder management
  • Develop consulting skills in strategic thinking, programme and change management
  • Ensure quality and risk compliance across client work
  • Contribute to practice development and sales materials
  • Lead diverse teams within an inclusive culture

Key requirements

  • Programme management experience in top-tier corporate or consulting environments
  • Knowledge of the M&A process and deal lifecycle
  • Experience leading and coaching project teams
  • Proficiency in change management and transformation initiatives (tech or business processes)
  • Ability to challenge business plans logically with evidence
  • Ability to discuss strategy and implications with clients
  • Strong relationship-building with colleagues and clients
