Procurement Contracts Manager

Overview

In this role you will own contract governance and supplier management within a global manufacturing context. You collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Compliance, IT and international stakeholders to ensure robust contract processes that deliver commercial value. The position offers visibility across indirect spend, property leases and service contracts, with the chance to shape a newly created function. You will lead governance improvements and drive cross-functional procurement initiatives to support international operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle from negotiation to renewal and termination
• Support supplier contract management, T&Cs reviews, and compliance activities
• Develop and maintain a centralised contract and lease management database
• Drive contract governance improvements and increase visibility of key obligations
• Lead supplier performance, consolidation and rationalisation initiatives
• Support procurement across indirect spend categories
• Manage property leases, supplier agreements and service contracts
• Collaborate with UK and international stakeholders on approvals, governance and compliance
• Oversee company fleet contracts and supplier relationships
• Supervise a Purchasing Assistant and support wider procurement objectives

Key requirements

• Strong contract negotiation and contract management experience
• Commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively with procurement, legal and operational teams
• Experience managing supplier relationships and improving governance processes
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
• Confidence engaging with both UK and international stakeholders
