Banking Job – Mandarin speaking Senior Loan Relationship Manager – London – wm

Overview

As a Mandarin-speaking Senior Loan Relationship Manager, you drive growth for corporate banking by securing and expanding syndicated loan business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance while building strong lender and borrower relationships. You’ll provide market insight on syndicated lending and guide loan approvals through head office processes. This role offers substantial impact in shaping UK corporate banking activity and client coverage with a clear performance focus.

Responsibilities

• Source new corporate banking business and grow the existing relationship base to hit revenue targets within risk appetite and compliance policies
• Develop relationships with arrangers and other managers to solicit syndication loans in primary and secondary markets
• Meet loan growth targets (KPI) and provide market views on syndication loans
• Coordinate loan application processes with head office, branch loan department, branch risk, and Head Office Credit Management
• Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned by Senior Management

Key requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Solid syndication loans experience within UK Corporate Banking
• Relationship Manager experience in UK Corporate Banking
• UK work eligibility and ability to provide relevant documentation
• Proven ability in analyzing syndication loans and delivering results

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good time management
