Overview
In this role you will deliver innovative, sustainable structural designs for new and refurbished buildings, spanning residential, commercial and retail sectors. You will collaborate with a dynamic London team to handle projects from small refurbishments to large developments, supporting junior engineers and engaging in site visits. This position offers fast-track progression toward a Senior role within a well‑established design consultancy. You will contribute to a portfolio of high-impact projects near Angel and shape the engineering approach across varied programmes.

Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative and sustainable structural designs for new and refurbished buildings
- Contribute across residential, commercial and retail projects of varying scales
- Attend site visits to monitor construction and quality
- Support and guide junior structural engineers
- Work with concrete, steel, timber and masonry and use relevant structural software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
- Tackle complex structural challenges across diverse schemes
Key requirements
- Minimum of four years post graduate experience
- Experience on residential, commercial and retail projects
- Proficient in Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds
- Capability to work with concrete, steel, timber and masonry
- Ambitious and driven to advance career
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to attend site visits
- Chartered with IStructE or ICE (preferred but not essential)
- MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
