Overview
In this role you will lead and deliver assigned building services projects within a specialist engineering and design consultancy. You will mentor junior team members, coordinate across disciplines, and manage stakeholders while supporting commercial and contractual aspects. You’ll drive electrical delivery on large projects or multiple smaller ones, contributing to the firm’s reputation for engineering excellence. This is a growth-focused opportunity in a collaborative, client‑facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of assigned project work within the team
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Coordinate with related engineering disciplines to complete projects
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
- Support senior managers with commercial and contractual aspects
- Lead electrical elements of projects (single large project or portfolio)
Key requirements
- Chartered building services experience
- Degree qualified in electrical or building services engineering
- Experience mentoring and leading project teams
- Experience with financial, technical, quality and environmental responsibility for projects
- Enthusiastic and ambitious
- Excellent communication skills including report writing and presentation
- Ability to lead electrical elements of one large project or a portfolio of smaller projects
