Overview
As a Senior Manager in EY’s Global Tax Managed Services, you will lead complex multinational tax compliance and reporting engagements and drive strategic delivery for global clients. You’ll partner with Partners and senior stakeholders to shape engagement strategy, oversee international delivery teams, and contribute to growth of the Global Tax Managed Services practice. You’ll work across cross-border teams, guiding change initiatives and improving tax operating models. This is a high-impact leadership role at a firm focused on transforming tax services for multinational clients.

Responsibilities
- Lead complex multinational tax compliance and reporting engagements with responsibility for client relationships, delivery, and commercial outcomes
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across global organizations as the senior point of contact for engagement matters
- Shape client strategy with Partners and senior leadership, set delivery priorities, and resolve complex issues
- Oversee large global delivery teams, including juniors and offshore members, with clear objectives and development support
- Manage engagement governance, quality, service levels, and escalation across multiple jurisdictions
- Support business development on large pursuits, including proposals, pricing, and client pitches
- Own and drive the sales pipeline across mid-sized and smaller pursuits and identify opportunities for additional EY services
- Lead tax transformation, operating model design, and outsourced delivery initiatives for multinational clients
- Review and improve compliance and reporting processes considering data sources, controls, and technology enablement
- Lead budget reviews, resourcing, billing, and contract negotiation to ensure margins and client satisfaction
- Support Quality & Risk Management and liaise with QRM/legal teams to resolve service issues
- Share methodologies and tools with the team and drive improvement projects
- Drive efficiency, control, and transparency in global tax compliance and reporting processes
- Influence and coach international teams to enhance performance and governance
Key requirements
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- Proven work record leading complex engagements or programmes in tax, finance transformation, or professional services
- Excellent written and spoken communication with senior clients and stakeholders
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Project management capability to plan, prioritise, and manage budgets
- Experience managing international projects and multi-jurisdiction teams
- Experience in change, transformation, or process improvement initiatives
- Strong presentation skills for major client proposals
- Commercial and negotiation skills with ability to develop a point of view
- PRINCE2 or similar qualification beneficial
