Health & Safety Regulatory Associate Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will join an established regulatory team in Birmingham to advise a varied client base on health & safety and regulatory matters. You will hit the ground running, taking ownership of matters from day one and providing pragmatic, high-quality guidance. You will handle investigations, enforcement actions, prosecutions, and risk management while building trusted client relationships. This is an opportunity to contribute to complex, high-value cases within a supportive, collaborative department.

Responsibilities

• Advise on health & safety regulatory issues for businesses and individuals
• Handle regulatory investigations and enforcement actions
• Advise clients after serious workplace incidents
• Manage prosecutions and contentious regulatory matters
• Represent clients through investigations and enforcement processes
• Provide strategic, practical regulatory compliance guidance
• Support clients with risk management and preventative advice
• Collaborate with Head of Department on complex, high-value matters
• Develop strong, trusted client relationships

• Experienced Health & Safety Regulatory Solicitor
• Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape
• Ability to manage matters independently
• Technically strong with attention to detail
• Confident communicator with excellent client skills
• Able to manage own caseload with minimal supervision
