As a Project Director in Controls Analytics, you lead strategic client engagements and shape analytics-enabled project controls across major infrastructure programmes. You’ll guide multi-disciplinary teams, translate complex data into executive insights, and drive growth through compelling propositions. The role blends delivery oversight with advisory influence, advancing clients’ controls maturity and governance. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver data-driven outcomes that improve performance and risk management. Responsibilities
- Strategic Client Leadership: act as trusted advisor to Programme Directors, Sponsors and senior client stakeholders, guiding controls analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Delivery Oversight & Solution Leadership: set up and oversee Controls Analytics delivery across projects, define operating models, and ensure scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Controls Analytics and PMO Transformation: shape integrated analytics approaches for cost, schedule, risk, change, and performance; develop executive dashboards and KPI frameworks.
- Work Winning & Business Development: lead bids and client pursuits, articulate compelling Controls Analytics propositions, and identify growth opportunities.
- Team & Capability Leadership: mentor multidisciplinary teams, foster consultancy mindset, and contribute to methods, tools, and capability growth.
- Risk, Change & Performance Insight Leadership: integrate risk and scenario analytics into controls frameworks and advance predictive insights for decision-making.
Key requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Data/Analytics or related discipline (informational).
- Professional certifications desirable (APM, PMI, MSP, RICS, AACE or similar).
- Typically 15+ years’ experience across project/programme controls, PMO leadership, and/or consultancy.
