Overview

In this role you will support GMP-compliant production activities across development and market finished products, focusing on QC and calibration. You will work closely with Production and analytical teams to perform analytical testing and sampling of materials and finished goods, ensuring quality and compliance. You will apply competency in pharmacopeial wet chemistry, HPLC, GC, and dissolution to determine fitness for purpose, while upholding SOPs and safety standards. This is a fast-paced environment where accuracy, collaboration, and problem-solving under GMP constraints drive product quality and customer trust.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Production and analytical teams (development and stability)
  • Perform analytical testing to assess starting materials, intermediates and finished products
  • Apply analytical techniques (wet chemistry, HPLC, GC, Dissolution) for QC testing of materials and finished products
  • Operate under cGMP and in accordance with SOPs and pharmacopoeia
  • Sample starting materials, packaging components and finished products
  • Conduct cleaning verification to ensure equipment readiness for production
  • Assist in calibration of key analytical equipment and measurement devices
  • Comply with health and safety procedures

Key requirements

  • Relevant qualification, HNC/HND/Science Degree or Equivalent
  • Understanding of drug development and manufacturing processes
  • Technical competence in analytical activities to prescribed quality standards
  • Skilled in HPLC, Dissolution, GC, and wet chemistry
  • Good communication with laboratory and non-laboratory staff
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of quality control, SOP and GMP adherence
  • Results oriented with strong planning and organizational ability
  • Reliable, tolerant, and dependable
