Overview

In this role you lead Asset Protection across multiple sites, shaping standards and mitigating risks to protect people, products, and facilities. You will drive shrink reduction, investigations, and security programs while partnering with Operations, HR, Safety, Legal, and site leadership. The position combines hands-on leadership with strategic risk management to improve security and operational performance. You will work across diverse facilities, translating risk into practical, impact-driven solutions. This role offers meaningful scope to influence governance, incident response, and cross-site collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Asset Protection strategy across assigned sites with consistent standards
  • Perform risk assessments, audits, and operational reviews to identify vulnerabilities and drive improvements
  • Lead complex investigations into theft, fraud, incidents, and policy violations with robust documentation
  • Coach and develop Asset Protection teams on investigations, incidents, and performance
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Safety, Legal, and site leadership to implement practical risk remedies
  • Drive shrink and loss reduction through data analysis, trend identification, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Oversee physical security programs (guards, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, etc.)
  • Lead crisis response, emergency preparedness, and site initiatives while maintaining external relationships

Key requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, Corporate Security, Investigations, or related experience
  • Experience leading investigations, audits, risk assessments, security programs, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to travel
  • Ability to operate across multiple locations and diverse operational environments
  • Proven capability to translate strategy into practical site-level execution
  • Independent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
