In this role you will lead high-end residential projects for a regional main contractor in Oxford, overseeing new builds, refurbishments, alterations and extensions. You will drive safety, quality and site readiness while managing on-site teams and coordinating with stakeholders. The position offers involvement in luxury projects with varied heritage and listed buildings exposure, contributing to a stable, long-established firm’s portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear impact on delivery and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• oversee high-end residential projects on site (new build, refurbishment, extensions, alterations)
• maintain health and safety standards and manage site paperwork
• lead and develop on-site teams and subcontractors
• ensure project progress, quality and compliance with specifications
• coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to meet project goals
• facilitate daily site operations and logistics
• commute to Oxford for daily site presence

Key requirements

• experience as Senior Site Manager with reputable main contractor
• background on high-end residential projects up to 2m in value
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
• strong Health & Safety focus and thorough site documentation
• excellent man management skills
• able to commute to Oxford daily
