Overview
In this role you join a specialist Agriculture & Estates team within a leading national practice to handle rural real estate matters. You will work across transactional work, liaising with clients and advisers to deliver practical, high-quality advice. You’ll gain exposure to farm acquisitions, renewables, natural capital and estate management while collaborating with a supportive private client group. Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, deeds, and related documents
- Managing and supporting an active caseload with timely delivery of advice
- Direct communication with clients, advisers and stakeholders
- Advising on farm acquisitions/disposals, refinancing, renewable energy projects, natural capital, and estate management
- Collaborating with colleagues across the Agriculture & Estates team
- Participating in marketing, networking and business development initiatives
Key requirements
- Completion of a recognised training contract or equivalent qualifying experience
- 0-3 years’ PQE at a reputable legal practice
- Demonstrable interest and foundational knowledge in Agriculture & Estates
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality drafting skills
- Excellent client care skills and professional integrity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, case management systems, Outlook and digital dictation
