Overview
In this role, you will lead infrastructure projects and programmes, applying NEC3/NEC4 principles to deliver client objectives. You’ll guide teams, manage contracts and risks, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery while building trusted advisor relationships with clients. The role combines hands-on project control with mentorship to develop the next generation of project managers. The opportunity offers exposure to high-profile, complex projects and a hybrid working pattern reflecting client needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of infrastructure projects and programmes across lifecycle
- Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts and manage contract-related risks
- Provide leadership to project teams and navigate complex environments
- Manage financials, forecasting and budgeting for projects
- Oversee project controls, health, safety, quality and environmental management
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships with clients and partners
- Plan, communicate and coordinate multiple work streams with senior client representatives
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and others on the team
Key requirements
- Significant experience in infrastructure project or programme management
- Proven NEC3/NEC4 accreditation and relevant ECC Project Manager experience
- Strong leadership, teamwork and people development skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and numerical capabilities
- Proven ability to work under pressure and drive delivery
- Solid commercial awareness including forecasting and budgeting
