Overview
In this Fire Surveyor role, you will deliver fire safety assessments and EWS1 surveys for residential and commercial buildings. You will join a London-based team within an established fire consultancy that supports councils, architects and design teams to embed safety in architecture. You will manage surveys, CPD recommendations, and project constraints while working across multiple sectors. Responsibilities
- Provide technical fire safety advice on products and systems to align with the overall objective, including EWS1 surveys
- Identify and promote CPD opportunities within the company
- Client management and liaison with project management to deliver surveys per contract
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resources to meet deadlines
- Maintain strong digital working practices and quality management for deliverables
Key requirements
- 5+ years in construction with 3+ years as a Surveyor / Building Control Surveyor
- Experience in fire stopping / dry lining
- MRICS, MCABE, MIFIREE, MCIOB or working towards
- Understanding of building pathology, construction typology, materials
- Experience with cladding & facades / EWS1
- UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
