Senior Manager – Lead – Finance Consultant (D365 Finance & Operations) TC – UKI

Overview

As Finance Lead for Dynamics 365 F&O, you will steer the Finance workstream across programmes, combining SME expertise with delivery leadership to standardise, scalable solutions. You act as a trusted advisor to clients and a senior practice leader, shaping finance transformations and ensuring alignment with Microsoft best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive adoption of out-of-the-box functionality. This role offers impact across engagements and opportunities to build reusable assets and capability.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Finance solution across D365 F&O programmes and translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Lead design decisions and participate in Architecture governance; advocate out-of-the-box functionality
• Ensure delivery quality across scope, timeline, and budget; manage risks and dependencies
• Lead workshops, demonstrations, and pre-sales activities; support proposals and solution shaping
• Mentor Managers and Consultants; drive capability development including AI, RPA, Power Platform
• Contribute to reusable assets, methodologies, and knowledge development; support training
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to deliver integrated outcomes

Key requirements

• Strong experience across D365 Finance modules (GL, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Tax)
• Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, A2D)
• High-level understanding of D365 architecture and ecosystem (integrations, data, Azure DevOps)
• Experience delivering multiple end-to-end D365 implementations
• Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams and complex programmes
• Risk management, decision-making, and escalation handling
