Project Controls Specialists – All Levels – Planning

Overview

In this role you will join our PMO Midlands as a key member of the Project Controls team, delivering planning, scheduling and performance analysis for major infrastructure programmes. You will work with cost and planning engineers to create robust baselines, monitor progress and costs, and produce insightful reports for clients. You may be the main client contact on projects, contributing to continuous improvement and high-quality schedule management. Responsibilities

• Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines with cost/planning engineers
• Establish progress and cost monitoring methods and produce project control reports
• Provide performance analysis and recommendations for clients
• Serve as day-to-day client contact on projects, within a team or standalone
• Support in schedule construction and baseline management, including workshops and data collection

Key requirements

• Experience in a project controls environment within infrastructure sectors (Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water/Utilities)
• Proficiency in Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, PMO or equivalent

• Strong verbal and written communication
• Autonomous and team-oriented collaboration
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Primavera P6
• Power BI
• Microsoft Office applications
