Overview
In this role you will own a busy manufacturing operation, leading safety, quality and delivery while driving continuous improvement. You will schedule production, manage on-site teams and implement Lean/Kaizen across key areas. The position offers a Monday–Thursday pattern for work-life balance and the chance to impact cost control and on-site performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes and deliver against the production plan and quality policy. This is an autonomous, hands-on leadership role with clear scope to shape site operations.

Responsibilities
- Manage safety, quality and delivery targets across production functions
- Oversee production scheduling to meet the production plan
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (5S / SMED / TPM / Kaizen)
- Develop and motivate on-site teams to improve performance
- Interpret drawings and data to resolve production issues and optimise processes
- Ensure adherence to quality policy and cost-control objectives
Key requirements
- HND or Degree in Manufacturing / Engineering
- Production leadership experience in manufacturing
- Experience with Lean / Six Sigma and Kaizen events
- Confident in leading teams and interpreting drawings/data to resolve issues
