Project Director – UKI

Overview

As a senior delivery lead in the UKI Global Services team, you will own key customer relationships, shape enterprise delivery roadmaps, and drive the adoption of Workday AI. You will oversee diverse, multi-workstream deployments across industries, guiding executive stakeholders and coordinating with Engagement Managers to align delivery with business outcomes. You will ensure value delivery on time and on budget while promoting innovation and AI-enabled delivery practices. This role offers a mission-driven chance to influence complex transformations and scale AI capabilities for customers.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers to success in a dynamic environment and enable business transformation
• Lead large, multi-industry deployments including complex global programs
• Advise senior customer leadership on enterprise transformation and how Workday AI drives efficiency
• Act as Steering Committee member and Project Sponsor with strong stakeholder management
• Manage delivery to meet time and budget targets from start-up to go-live
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement using AI tools and new tech to improve delivery
• Empower and coach Engagement Managers to achieve deployment objectives
• Help customers adopt Workday AI across Finance, HR, and Planning to improve decisions

Key requirements

• 10+ years leading large, multi-workstream technology implementations in professional services
• Experience delivering enterprise HCM and/or Finance SaaS implementations
• Ability to communicate complex programs to technical and non-technical audiences
• Executive presence with senior stakeholders in high-visibility settings
• Influencing and conflict management in matrixed organizations
• Experience owning project budgets and forecasts and course-correcting financial health
• Deep project management experience with formal delivery methodologies
• Strong time management for concurrent high-stakes engagements
• Relation-building skills with customers and colleagues as a trusted escalation point
• Experience delivering Workday Financial Management implementations at program or project leadership level
