Overview

In this role you lead the EMEA Cash Management operations and drive end-to-end strategy for high‑velocity payment flows. You’ll shape the operating model, elevate client experience, and enforce risk controls while accelerating data‑driven decisions, AI-enabled operations, and scalable automation. You’ll partner with regional/global teams to balance local needs with enterprise standards. Responsibilities

  • Lead the EMEA Cash Management operations function, setting priorities and measuring performance against regional/global goals
  • Manage capacity, workforce planning, and resource allocation to ensure resilient, scalable service delivery
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to align local market requirements with enterprise standards
  • Ensure day-to-day operational integrity across payment rails, focus on timeliness, accuracy, resilience, and client commitments
  • Strengthen first-line risk and control practices including incident management, regulatory compliance, and issue resolution
  • Support business continuity and operational resilience planning for critical processes
  • Foster a data-driven culture using metrics and trends to drive decisions
  • Identify and implement automation to reduce manual work and improve processing times
  • Support AI-enabled workflows for exception handling, forecasting, and monitoring
  • Drive process reengineering and modernization in collaboration with Technology, Product, and Change teams
  • Champion disciplined change execution with testing, readiness, and stabilization
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Manage client and partner escalations with a solutions-focused approach
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Coverage teams to deliver strong client outcomes
  • Represent payments operations in governance and forums as needed
  • Promote a culture focused on client focus, accountability, and curiosity

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in cash management operations or related domains
  • Significant people management experience in high-volume environments
  • Proven experience leading complex payment operations with strong regulatory oversight
  • Strong knowledge of EMEA cash management systems and market practices; broader EMEA knowledge advantageous
  • Track record of operational improvement, automation, or transformation with measurable results
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk, control frameworks, incident management, and business continuity
  • Ability to interpret operational data and make evidence-based decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across senior leaders
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or structured process improvement methods advantageous
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma a plus
