Overview
In this role you will support the trading team in a fast, cross-asset environment. You will assist in designing and developing trading algorithms, execute trades (manual and algorithmic), and work on exchange connectivity. You’ll collaborate with the Head of Trading and the Quant Team to refine strategies and resolve issues. The role offers exposure to high-frequency trading in a flat, merit-based culture that emphasizes rapid decision-making and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing new trading algorithms
- Execute trades manually and algorithmically
- Work on connectivity to Financial Exchanges
- Provide client trading support
- Improve and maintain existing strategies
- Understand requirements for new applications with traders and resolve issues
Key requirements
- STEM degree, Masters or PhD from a top university
- Experience in institutional trading
- Experience executing trades and taking positions
