Overview

In this Insurance-focused Management Consulting Manager role, you will help define and shape insurance offerings, leveraging digital technologies and Gen AI to solve client challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformational change for insurers, building credibility with senior stakeholders. You’ll mentor and lead diverse teams, and bring a distinctive industry perspective to client conversations. This is a high-impact role at a leading global firm, driving market-relevant insurance solutions and value.

Responsibilities

  • Define insurance industry solutions and offerings to address client challenges
  • Leverage insurance expertise to build credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Build and lead diverse teams from across Accenture to deliver change
  • Grow and mentor individuals in the Insurance practice
  • Develop points of view and tangible results for the insurance sector
  • Work on journey to cloud, digital transformation in underwriting and claims, and insurtech initiatives
  • Engage with clients to demonstrate the value of integrated Strategy, Technology and Operations
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and influence at C-Suite level

Key requirements

  • Experience in Personal, Commercial and London Markets; underwriting and claims transformation, pensions operations, life insurance processes and retirement income
  • Proven track record of building and sustaining relationships with senior insurance clients
  • Expertise in digital technology applications to insurance use cases (e.g., cloud, analytics, AI)
  • Market experience across insurance claims, underwriting, broking, London Markets, SME, reinsurance, actuarial, Insurtech, pensions
  • Excellent consulting, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort operating at the intersection of business and technology
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and identify opportunities through innovative thinking
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
