Overview
In this role you support Palantir’s Global Mobility tax and payroll reporting, driving compliant, efficient processes for a global workforce. You collaborate with Finance, People and Legal to move employees worldwide while exploring AI-enabled improvements. You will manage tax payments, shadow payroll, and cross-charges, and partner with external providers to deliver high-quality mobility tax services. The role blends program management, data analysis, and execution to scale mobility operations and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Track and review tax payments, shadow payroll, and tax equalisation across multiple countries
- Initiate expat-related tax and payroll payment requests; review payroll outputs for accurate reporting
- Verify mobility and tax cost reporting for accruals and cross charges
- Maintain relationships with external tax service providers for guidance and support
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to drive mobility-related projects and system enhancements
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automation into mobility tax workflows
- Partner with internal AI and data teams to refine tools improving speed, accuracy, and scalability of mobility operations
Key requirements
- 2+ years of Global Mobility, Tax or Payroll experience in a large public accounting/law firm or multinational deploying expatriates
- Knowledge of U.S. income taxes; familiarity with foreign tax systems a plus
