Overview
In this role you will lead regulatory toxicology strategies for late-stage development and marketed products, supporting global decision-making and safety assessments. You will work within Regulatory Toxicology and Safety Pharmacology to deliver safe, market-ready compounds and to coach teams through regulatory and marketing processes. The position emphasizes cross-therapy collaboration across geographies to drive timely, safe medicines. You will apply your toxicology expertise to mitigate risks and enable successful global regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities
- Design global regulatory toxicology strategies to assess and mitigate safety risks for late-stage development and marketed products
- Provide non-clinical safety expertise to support established brands
- Communicate positions on integrated risk assessments to governance bodies and defend trial and marketing applications
- Coach colleagues through the process of global marketing applications and regulatory defence
- Maintain up-to-date regulatory requirements and preclinical safety approaches
- Conduct specialist non-clinical safety evaluation of in-licensing opportunities
Key requirements
- PhD in Biology, Toxicology, Pharmacology or related field
- extensive experience as a Project Toxicologist across multiple therapy areas in pharma/biotech
- delivery of pre-clinical toxicology packages and successful marketing across modalities (small molecules, peptides, oligonucleotides)
- collaborative, team-oriented problem solver with ability to coordinate multiple projects
- proven track record as a coach/mentor
- excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills
