Overview

In this Manager role, you will lead high‑quality tax compliance services for a diverse set of high net worth clients, estates, trusts and partnerships within a national FO&PC practice. You will review complex returns, manage client relationships and the compliance process to meet deadlines and risk controls, while identifying advisory opportunities. The role blends technical trust and personal tax expertise with a client‑facing, entrepreneurial environment at a leading firm. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality compliance service to clients, including review of complex tax returns, capital gains calculations, land/property accounts and residence/remittance issues
  • Prepare and review Trust accounts and tax returns
  • Prepare and review IHT returns for trust entries, exits and ten year charges
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and identify advisory opportunities
  • Oversee compliance processes and develop best-practice procedures to meet deadlines and manage risk
  • Manage work in progress and ensure prompt billing and cash collection

Key requirements

  • Qualified accountant or tax advisor with experience in personal tax, specifically trusts, with a varied client base
  • Strong academic results and insightful understanding of private client issues
  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative
  • Commitment to clients, colleagues and KPMG
  • High analytical ability and commercial approach to advising
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Open to managers or recently qualified individuals seeking growth within a dynamic team; also open to other relevant tax or accounting experience with a suitable qualification
