Assistant Director Technology Sourcing – Outsourcing and Managed Services

Overview

In this role, you guide technology sourcing within EY’s Global Procurement to deliver value across technology categories. You will lead sourcing strategy, negotiations, and vendor management, aligning with policy and processes. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders to manage complex transactions and reduce contract risk while improving value for money. The role supports enterprise-scale technology programs and cross-border supplier relationships, driving global category strategy and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy and execution for technology categories
• Negotiate and manage global and regional deals within policy
• Develop category strategy to support global technology initiatives
• Manage full contract lifecycle and renewals for key suppliers
• Collaborate with GCO (legal) to negotiate terms and report value
• Build deal pipelines and resourcing plans
• Support policy/process improvements, reporting, and market research
• Onboard Technology Goods and Services and socialize sourcing policy

Key requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing
• Experience negotiating technology services contracts (outsourcing, managed services)
• Senior-level stakeholder management experience
• Global sourcing/Vendor management experience
• Experience in IT-related delivery and cross-functional collaboration
• English communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience in a global, diverse organization
• Knowledge of multiple service delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• CPSM qualification or equivalent desired
