Production Planner

Overview

As Production Planner, you will translate the production plan into an executable schedule and coordinate with production, supply planning, and material teams to meet capacity and delivery targets. You’ll monitor daily progress, adjust plans in real time, and address disruptions to minimise downtime. This role is embedded in Pernod Ricard’s global supply chain culture and offers cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and opportunities to influence manufacturing efficiency. You will work on shaping reliable, cost-efficient production plans within a premium consumer goods portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the production schedule to meet on-time delivery
• Adjust schedules in response to new information and production needs to reduce downtime
• Coordinate with Supply Planning Manager to align production with capacity plans and disruptions
• Participate in daily planning meetings to review progress and resolve constraints
• On-site monitoring of daily production execution and timely issue resolution
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, material planning, and warehouse teams to ensure resource availability
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve scheduling processes and workflows
• Maintain records and generate daily/weekly performance and adherence reports

Key requirements

• Experience in a similar Planning role within FMCG
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing interdependencies
• Proficient with planning software and ERP systems; Excel and specialist planning tools helpful
• Ability to process and manage large volumes of data
