Overview
Senior technical leader in Stantec’s Environmental Water Quality Team, driving advanced solutions for water quality across UK and Ireland. You will guide multi-disciplinary programmes with clients in water, energy, and infrastructure, identifying pollution sources and pathways to protect rivers, coasts and catchments. You’ll mentor teams, liaise with regulators, and shape high-impact, sustainable outcomes. This is a chance to influence environmental change at scale and grow technical leadership.

Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-disciplinary programmes delivering water quality solutions
- Identify pollution sources, pathways and receptors across natural and urban catchments
- Develop and implement solutions spanning the full water cycle
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with project managers for successful delivery
- Engage with clients, regulators and industry colleagues to ensure outcomes
- Contribute to projects such as WINEP studies, marine/inland water quality modelling, storm overflow investigations, and catchment risk assessments
Key requirements
- Degree in an appropriate discipline
- ≥10 years’ experience across the water industry
- Proven track record delivering challenging projects mitigating environmental impacts of wastewater assets
- Familiar with UK environmental quality legislation
- Confident communicator with clients, regulators and colleagues
