Overview
You will lead structuring and execution of complex infrastructure finance deals, with emphasis on energy projects, across renewables, conventional power, LNG and data infrastructure. In this on-desk role, you’ll collaborate with originators, syndication and external counsel to deliver innovative financing solutions. You will manage the full transaction lifecycle from underwriting to execution and risk exit, while staying mindful of regulatory and market developments. Responsibilities
- Advise on and draft documentation for infrastructure and energy finance transactions (renewables, power generation, LNG, data centres and fibre networks)
- Negotiate loan agreements, security packages, and intercreditor arrangements per LMA standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (clients, counsel, regulators)
- Manage legal risk throughout the transaction lifecycle to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide market insight on energy transition, sustainability-linked financing, and infrastructure trends
Key requirements
- 8+ years PQE with a major law firm or financial institution
- Experience with structuring and transaction execution on a business desk (advantageous)
- Familiarity with LMA documentation and project finance structures (including direct lending, warehouse/back leverage and securitisation)
- Commercially driven with ability to handle a varied workload
- FCA certification to perform this role and pass the associated exams
