Overview
In this role you will install, commission and service advanced capital equipment at client sites across the UK and internationally. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, while delivering hands-on customer support and training. You’ll work with engineering teams to drive product improvements and maintain high service standards. Responsibilities
- Install and commission complex capital equipment at client sites nationwide
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
- Provide hands-on technical support and training to customers
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Accurately document service activities and maintain reports
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support product improvements
Key requirements
- Strong background in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Experience in capital equipment service or field-based engineering
- Excellent troubleshooting and proactive problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel internationally, often on short notice
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Strong communication and professional attitude
