Overview

In this role you will own the development and delivery of multidisciplinary systems for next-generation diagnostics and biomanufacturing platforms. You’ll work across engineering and R&D to design, integrate and commercialise semiconductor-based and biocomputing technologies, while ensuring ISO 13485-compliant documentation. You collaborate with internal and external partners to align execution with programme goals and regulatory requirements. The position combines hardware, software and biology delivery in a scalable, regulated product context, with opportunities to grow into broader responsibilities as the company scales. Responsibilities

  • Technical ownership of complex multidisciplinary systems
  • Design, integration and delivery of hardware/software/biology platforms
  • Product architecture and ISO 13485 documentation
  • Hands-on delivery of regulated systems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align with programme goals
  • Support translation of breakthrough IP into scalable, regulated products

Key requirements

  • Experience in systems engineering, product development, or technical project delivery within biotech, diagnostics, or medical devices
  • Solid understanding of regulated product development
  • Exposure to startup environments, IP creation, or cross-functional team collaboration (preferred)
  • Background in mechanical, biomedical, or electronic engineering (ideal)
