Civil Engineering – Expressions of Interest

Overview

In this role you will contribute to drainage and SuDS design within Stantec’s UK water offices, guiding projects from feasibility through detailed design. You will collaborate across disciplines, support or lead engineers, and ensure delivery on time and within budget. The work addresses major infrastructure challenges like water quality, flood risk, and resilient systems, with opportunities to grow in a globally connected team.

Responsibilities

• Drive drainage or SuDS design from feasibility to detailed design
• Collaborate across disciplines and support or lead other engineers
• Ensure high-quality outputs delivered on time and within budget
• Contribute to projects with real impact in water infrastructure
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor level) or equivalent
• Solid experience in drainage or SuDS design
• Chartered status or working towards it (preferred)
• Ability to deliver projects from concept to detailed design
• Comfort working across disciplines and leading teams when needed
