Property Partner & Head of Department

Overview

In this role you lead a Property team within a leading L500 firm in North London, driving a mix of residential and commercial property matters. You will manage high-quality client work, work closely with senior Partners, and contribute to the firm’s growth as it scales. The position offers hands-on practice, exposure to top agents, and a clear equity pathway. You will shape the department’s direction in an entrepreneurial, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• handle freehold and leasehold sales
• manage remortgages and transfers of equity
• work closely with Legal 500 Partners and a support team
• engage with high-end estate agents
• deliver hands-on client service
• contribute to equity growth and progression plans

Key requirements

• 7+ years PQE in Residential & Commercial Property
• Senior Associate/Partner level with client-facing experience
• ability to develop strong client relationships
• mentoring juniors is a plus
• following desired but not essential
• open to Senior Associates stepping up to Partner
• experience across both residential and commercial property
