In this Gloucester-based role you will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload in an autonomous position within a collaborative firm. You will handle both freehold/leasehold transactions and specialist matters, while mentoring junior colleagues and supporting business development. Responsibilities
- Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Manage new build transactions, remortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions
- Advise on SDLT reliefs and exemptions
- Deal with unregistered properties and title restrictions/cautions
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
- Build relationships with estate agents and brokers
- Support business development and departmental growth
Key requirements
- Qualified Residential Conveyancer or Solicitor
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in complex residential conveyancing
- Strong technical knowledge across conveyancing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- Commercial awareness and proactive client service
- Familiarity with SDLT, Land Registry, and case management systems
