Overview

In this role you will provide medical, scientific, and strategic leadership for planning, executing, and reporting clinical trials in metabolic/endocrine domains. You will serve as the internal medical expert for study reports and regulatory documents, while helping to shape new clinical projects from design to protocol and plans. You will collaborate across functions, oversee safety, and engage in sponsor meetings and business development. You will operate with hybrid WFH flexibility and contribute to a mission-driven, patient-centered development program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials
  • Contribute medical expertise to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts
  • Manage safety issues in clinical trials and collaborate with colleagues on evaluation of trials
  • Participate in new business development through involvement in proposals and sponsor meetings
  • Coordinate with other departments across all study phases including feasibility, design, medical information, and editing of medical documents
  • Follow protocol requirements and lead adherence to policies

Key requirements

  • MD degree or equivalent
  • Board certification and current medical licensure preferred
  • Prior clinical trial research experience preferred
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research preferred
  • Travel up to 20%
