Overview

In this role you will lead the sales strategy for a greenfield, hosted real-time market data and reference data product. You’ll work within a collaborative, flat team to expand in the UK and Europe with asset managers, funds and insurers. You’ll tackle enterprise-scale deals, shaping a market-changing solution amid a favorable regulatory environment. This position offers clear progression, with a strong upside through bonus and commission, and a chance to build the go-to market for a leading data product.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-scale sales of market/reference data or software platform solutions
  • Drive growth of a new greenfield product and shape the market offering
  • Develop and close deals with tier 1 UK/European financial clients (Asset Managers, Funds, Insurance)
  • Leverage warm pipeline and inroads to accelerate revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product capabilities with customer needs
  • Demonstrate track record of sales excellence and leadership
  • Explain and demonstrate value of enterprise data feeds and data management platforms

Key requirements

  • Experience selling market/reference data or enterprise data/software platforms at scale
  • Proven leadership and strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of financial data, instruments, and trade lifecycle
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales and complex deal cycles
  • Understanding of vendor data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters, Telekurs, Markit, IDC, etc.) and data management solutions
  • Experience with data management applications, core banking systems, trading platforms or similar data products
  • Comfort with a performance-driven compensation model and regional expansion
  • Willingness to develop business in the UK and Europe
