Overview
In this IT Product Specialist role, you will lead the product strategy for logistics-focused IT solutions within Greencore’s supply chain. You will partner with business and IT leaders to ensure value-driven delivery of SAP and warehouse software, guiding a product lifecycle from inception to retirement. You’ll assess current SAP landscapes, drive modernization roadmaps, and collaborate with vendors to achieve scalable, user-friendly solutions. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders to define the product strategy aligned with business goals
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring cost-effective IT service delivery and agility to changing priorities
- Assess the SAP landscape for effectiveness and scalability, and develop an application modernization roadmap
- Define and govern project scope with specialist technology knowledge, delivering on timelines
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure high-quality services and solutions
- Evaluate proposals and configure/customize solutions to meet user needs and maintain a good user experience
- Coordinate with other teams for smooth transition and user acceptance of transformed applications
- Provide insight on industry trends and technologies to drive efficiency, scalability, and maintainability
- Ensure product compliance with security, risk, and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot incidents with the support team, resolve complex issues, and reduce recurring support work
Key requirements
- 5+ years in business/industry
- Deep knowledge of warehouse management (Manhattan Associates and SAP EWM)
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Understanding of development tools and system integrations
- Understanding of business processes for product design
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Broad IT knowledge and its relation to other business functions
- Understanding of the development lifecycle and software testing
- Logical, analytical problem-solving approach
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Understanding of Agile, experience with Scrum, Kanban, and related methodologies
- Experience with Jira and CALM
