Overview

In this role you will lead education-sector projects in London, managing the full lifecycle from feasibility to handover. You’ll head cross-functional project teams, coordinate resources, and apply disciplined governance to deliver on time and within budget. The position sits in the London Real Estate team within our Health and Education Division, offering exposure to live projects and major new builds. You will help shape outcomes for clients while growing your career in a market-leading firm with an entrepreneurial culture.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and secure resources for education projects using appropriate tools
  • Lead project teams and delegate tasks with clear roles
  • Identify and manage risks and issues with mitigation strategies
  • Ensure projects stay on track on time and within budget using project management standards
  • Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders in the education sector
  • Monitor and report progress using relevant metrics
  • Evaluate project impact and benefits using evidence-based methods

Key requirements

  • Post-graduate qualification in project management (internationally recognised)
  • Degree in a relevant field (preferable)
  • Experience in Education projects (schools, universities, or research institutions)
  • Strong contract administration skills, especially NEC contracts
  • Commercially astute with ability to manage budgets and resources
  • Knowledge of UK Department for Education guidelines, funding mechanisms, and project management tools
