Site Manager

Overview

In this Site Manager role, you will oversee yard and warehouse operations, transport logistics, and health and safety compliance to ensure safe handling of current and future chemical throughput. You will work with cross-functional teams to plan capacity and improvements, mentor warehouse and logistics staff, and uphold high service levels for customers. The position is rooted in safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within a fast-paced environment. You will drive operational excellence and shape safe, scalable processes in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard and warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflows
• Manage transport logistics for timely, cost-effective deliveries
• Maintain and enforce site health and safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Monitor chemical throughput and safe handling, storage, and processing
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan for future capacity and throughput
• Lead and mentor warehouse and logistics staff with safety and efficiency training
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to sustain high service levels
• Ensure all operations align with safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction commitments

Key requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in chemical handling or hazardous materials environment
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices for chemical storage and transportation
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and internal teams
