Overview

As an Azure Solution Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure enterprise applications on the Microsoft stack. You will define end-to-end architectures aligned to business goals and guide Agile teams with governance and best practices. You’ll shape architecture decisions across Azure, .NET, APIs and modern web apps, ensuring high performance and maintainability. This role offers exposure to large-scale delivery, architecture leadership, and enterprise transformation within a global organisation.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architecture aligned to business goals
• Analyze requirements and environments to shape scalable solutions
• Lead architecture decisions across Azure, .NET, APIs and modern web apps
• Support delivery teams with design governance and technical guidance
• Oversee solution development for security, performance, modularity and maintainability
• Contribute to technology selection, prototypes and POCs
• Drive engineering quality through coding standards, testing frameworks and delivery controls
• Support Agile teams and collaborate with project and product stakeholders
• Define and track KPIs to measure delivery quality and team performance

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect
• Strong experience across Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architecture
• Strong knowledge of .NET / C# development environments
• Experience with React.js, Node.js and API-led architecture
• Understanding of graph databases such as Neo4j
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience setting quality gates, testing strategies and engineering standards
• Experience delivering projects in Agile environments
