Product Manager – Financial Data

Overview

In this role, you will lead product management for enterprise data and market data services within a small, high-profile financial services-focused firm. You’ll coordinate across internal and client teams to drive service improvements, capacity management, and the evolution of Managed Services offerings. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to support pre- and post-sales activities and ensure service delivery excellence. This is a client-facing role with exposure to blue-chip financial clients and a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and cloud-enabled product growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service improvement initiatives to standardize and harden Managed Services, covering infrastructure, applications and service delivery
• Drive capacity and availability management initiatives
• Support sales of existing Managed Services and assist delivery teams with critical activities (audits, reviews, problem management)
• Research and propose new Managed Services and refine existing offerings
• Perform cost analyses and identify efficiency improvements
• Oversee customer contractual services and service levels from pre-sales to business-as-usual post production
• Conduct customer cost analysis and provide recommendations

Key requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in banking, financial services or software product firms
• 3–4 years’ experience supporting ASP or SaaS applications
• Understanding of cloud methodologies
• Proficiency with SaaS, PaaS, Agile, AWS services
• Experience with public cloud architecture and containerized deployment
• Good understanding of data models
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, logical skills and team player
• Proven technical client management experience in financial sector
