Overview
As a Senior/Staff Analog IC Design Engineer at Cirrus Logic, you will drive the development of low‑power, high‑performance mixed‑signal ICs in advanced CMOS processes for diverse markets. You’ll own solutions from concept to production and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver transformative analog/mixed‑signal building blocks. The role combines hands‑on transistor‑level design, front‑end modeling, and post‑silicon validation in a fast‑paced, inclusive culture with scope for leadership. You’ll work with state‑of‑the‑art tools to push performance under commercial constraints.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of mixed-signal circuit development from concept to production
- Modeling with Matlab, Simulink, Spectre, AMS Designer
- Transistor‑level implementation of analog/mixed‑signal designs
- Design and verification of A/D, D/A, LDOs, DC/DC, PLLs, oscillators, op‑amps, AFEs
- Overseeing layout and post‑layout optimization
- Hands‑on lab checkout, silicon learning, and debug
- Post‑silicon validation, characterization, and production testing support
Key requirements
- BSc in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in mixed‑signal CMOS design
- Deep understanding of analog design flows (architecture, design, integration)
- Strong CMOS analog design and low‑power, high‑precision layouts
- Hands‑on lab test/debug with various lab equipment
