Overview
In this role, you will lead the FP&A function to steer financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for an industrial manufacturing group. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align financial insights with strategic goals and drive performance through KPI monitoring and scenario analysis. You will develop robust financial models to support decision-making and provide ad-hoc analysis for senior management. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities
- Prepare and present budgets and forecasts to support strategic decisions
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and actionable insights
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure financial alignment and efficiency
- Monitor and report on KPIs and business performance metrics
- Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate opportunities or risks
- Support senior management with financial modelling and ad-hoc analysis
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Key requirements
- Strong experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the industrial or manufacturing sector
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools
- Relevant qualification in accounting or finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information clearly
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
