Senior Placement Broker

Overview

As part of Marsh’s FINPRO Management Liability wholesale team in London, you will lead complex D&O and Crime placements for overseas clients, coordinating with global colleagues to source London market solutions. You’ll manage renewals, create MRCs/slips, and build strong relationships with Marsh brokers and London underwriters. Your work drives cross-border insurance solutions for large US and ASX-listed companies, contributing to a collaborative, innovative insurance platform. This hybrid role suits a proactive broker with London market expertise and strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end placement of large D&O and Crime risks from initiation to completion
• Provide market updates and account-specific information to overseas colleagues
• Ensure renewals and new business deadlines are met; oversee MRCs/slips accuracy
• Cultivate relationships with global Marsh brokers and London market underwriters
• Collaborate with the team to develop and roll out innovative insurance solutions

Key requirements

• Technical knowledge of D&O and Financial Lines; solid understanding of Lloyd’s and the London market
• Experience in broking, underwriting, or claims, preferably in Financial Lines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a global network
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple complex placements with shared renewal dates
